Der genaue Verlauf bleibt bis heute ein R\u00e4tsel, doch die R\u00f6mer haben zahlreiche Spuren hinterlassen. Auf diesem Weitwanderweg erleben Sie das r\u00f6mische S\u00fcd-Limburg \u2013 so wie es die r\u00f6mischen Soldaten schon vor Jahrhunderten taten.<\/p>\n<p>Die Via Belgica war eine alte r\u00f6mische Stra\u00dfe, die von Boulogne-sur-Mer in Frankreich bis nach K\u00f6ln in Deutschland f\u00fchrte. Auf ihrem Weg durchquerte sie S\u00fcd-Limburg. Sie trat bei Maastricht in die Niederlande ein und verlie\u00df sie bei Rimburg wieder. Die Existenz dieser gro\u00dfen R\u00f6merstra\u00dfe hatte gro\u00dfen Einfluss auf die umliegende Region.
