As a result, information about regional history will become easier to find. Joep Steinhage and Anja Neskens are certainly looking forward to the collaboration: \u201cOur cooperation will lead to a broader and more integrated offer for tourists and residents of the region.\u201d<\/h3>\r\n&nbsp;"},{"acf_fc_layout":"tekst","tekst":"Starting in September 2023, the apps of both organisations will display part of each other\u2019s information. Information will also be exchanged on the websites, with links to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.viabelgica.nl\/en\/\">www.viabelgica.nl<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/archeoroutelimburg.nl\/en\">www.archeoroutelimburg.nl<\/a>.\r\n\r\nArcheo Route Limburg is a collaboration between the Province of Limburg, Limburg Marketing, and participating municipalities. The Province of Limburg initiated the Archeo Route and has so far subsidised 50% of the costs. The participating municipalities pay the other 50%. Each archaeological site is marked with a spear made of Corten steel. On-site, visitors can experience the story behind the find through an app using Augmented Reality and 3D.\r\nThe app, which has already been downloaded more than 11,000 times, offers not only information about individual sites but also various walking and cycling routes that connect the locations."},{"acf_fc_layout":"tekst","tekst":"<h3 class=\"HoofdtekstA\" style=\"line-height: 150%;\">A good start<\/h3>\r\n<p class=\"HoofdtekstA\" style=\"line-height: 150%;\">Joep Steinhage of Marketing Limburg: \u201cWe strengthen each other and have the same goal: to create more interest in the region\u2019s past by making it visible. You can now discover the stories of the Archeo Route in the Via Belgica app, and vice versa. In the Via Belgica app, you now have access to all Roman stories from South Limburg. And we encourage walkers and cyclists to explore the Archeo Route as well.
