- The Roman cuisine of Apicius
Duration: 1.5 hours excluding break
Description: Marcus Gavius Apicius lived during the reign of Emperor Tiberius. He was known as a gourmet. The basis of the cookbook De re coquinaria is attributed to him.
During the presentation, visitors get a look into the many, often exclusive, collections of recipes from that time, the origins and use of the products, and the cooking utensils.
Naturally, this workshop includes a tasting.
