Friends Gathering at De Twee Gezusters in Heerlen

On Monday, 12 June, the first Friends Gathering of 2023 took place, following the appointment of the new project leader. It was a pleasant and inspiring meeting with many enthusiastic participants. Stories were shared, opportunities spotted, bridges built – in short, we found our way forward!
A diverse group of entrepreneurs, local history associations, re-enactors, civil servants, and more came together – the perfect mix for making connections.
All participants were treated to a lecture by regional archaeologist Hilde Vanneste on “Heel Heerlen Graaft!” and by project initiator Benoît Mater on the new Thermenmuseum.
In the autumn, Mr. Oostwegel Sr. will welcome us to Château Gerlach. This gathering will take the form of an interactive inspiration session for our Friends.
