From idea to opening, documentary about a new piece of the Via Belgica

Filmmaker Henk Kroese of Sundog Films has made a documentary about the creation of the replica of the Via Belgica. In Valkenburg-Houthem, opposite Château Sint Gerlach, lies a new section of road surface with cart tracks that is a historically accurate copy of the original Via Belgica.
The 25-minute documentary was commissioned by the local history society Houthem–Sint Gerlach, where the idea for the replica first originated.
