Grand Café D’r Aowe Kino in Bocholtz – located along the Via Belgica – has long been a place to welcome weary travelers. Today, it still does exactly that: offering a delicious meal, a drink, and a place to stay overnight.

In addition, at D’r Aowe Kino you can use a Virtual Reality headset to take a “virtual” walk through the former Roman Villa Vlengendaal, the remains of which can be found nearby. This virtual experience makes it possible to explore in detail (including mosaics and frescoes) what life was like in a luxurious villa.
