Wake up in the Heuvelland

On the edge of Simpelveld, surrounded by Limburg’s natural beauty, lies Holiday Farm Simplevei. Simplevei is a farmhouse, built of marlstone, offering Bed and Breakfast facilities, separate holiday homes, and its own bistro for coffee with vlaai or a delicious lunch. A perfect base after a long walk or bike ride.

The authentic farm was built in 1708, in the valley of the Eijserbeek stream, a valley with steep slopes and breathtaking views. In the village, you may still come across remains of Roman villas and many other finds from Roman times. The name Simplevei, by the way, refers to the “house of Simplovius,” a name given by the Gallo-Roman inhabitants of the village.
