MUSEUM – Low-stimulation visit
This is an initiative of the Gallo-Roman Museum
Gallo-Romeins Museum, Tongeren
The low-stimulation visit is intended for everyone who is sensitive to sensory stimuli or who prefers to visit the permanent exhibition in complete tranquillity. We provide a pleasant and quiet environment in the museum.
The number of visitors is limited and no groups are present.
Some video and audio fragments are switched off. Other sensory stimuli are indicated in advance with a sign.
Our reception staff will not approach you spontaneously, but they are always available to answer your questions.
At the reception desk, you can borrow a communication card. During your visit, feel free to bring any items you need to regulate sensory stimuli. At the desk, you will also find the sensory-friendly basket containing noise-cancelling headphones, sunglasses and fidget tools. You may take these with you during your visit.
Are you planning a visit to the Gallo-Roman Museum? It is best to purchase your ticket in advance. This way, you are guaranteed a place.
