Discover the Roman treasure chamber of Meerssen
This walk passes places where Roman history lies hidden beneath the ground. Since the 19th century, people have been actively searching for Roman remains in Meerssen. The sites of Roman villas, statues of gods, and the presumed route of the Via Belgica can all be found here.
The route leads you through both the beautiful nature of the Geul Valley and the center of Meerssen. Moreover, the route is suitable for the whole family!
