South Limburg has an impressive history with a rich Roman past. As a friend of Via Belgica you help promote that heritage. You are part of a large group of entrepreneurs, specialists, institutions, and governments. By working together we increase the impact of the Via Belgica project. And we all benefit from that!
How can you contribute as a friend?
Anyone with a genuine interest in Roman South Limburg is welcome to join the Friends of Via Belgica. Participation is free of charge, but not without commitment. True Friends are engaged and support one another.
You can choose to be an active friend or a more occasional one. As an entrepreneur, for example, you might develop a product inspired by the Roman past and offer it to the public — this automatically links you to our tourism offerings. You could also organize an event, lecture, or cooking workshop. We’re happy to help promote it for you.
Share your story
Would you like to get involved but aren’t sure how your organization is connected to the Roman past? We’d be happy to help you get started!
Ideas
Roman bread, a theatre performance, medlar jelly, cycling routes past Roman discoveries or an educational program about the Romans — at viabelgica.eu you’ll find plenty of inspiration for products or activities with a Roman touch.
Are you organizing a Roman-themed event, performance, or exhibition? There are plenty of opportunities to collaborate with other Friends. At the regular Friends gatherings we host, you can meet, inspire each other and exchange ideas.
